Better late than never!

Being at the Texas Book Festival this past weekend reminded me that I needed to post some photos from my trip to the Brooklyn one over a month ago! So here are a few, including my night at the wonderful Five Leaves in Greenpoint with my mom and Auntie and one of them manning the booth!

I guess in about another month I will post photos from the Texas one! :)

I haven't properly thanked the wonderful people of Brooklyn and NYC-to those who came out for the Brooklyn Book Festival and to those who made my time there very memorable!
It was a quick trip but I met some great and talented folks and I'm ready to go back very soon!

Lack of sleep...

i'm having a hard time sleeping lately. too many things on my mind. too many things to do and not enough time...the same old complaint. :) however, taking a deep breath always works.

Today is a new day. I'm am officially a blogger thanks to my new friend, Holly! Thanks, Holly! Most who know me would be utterly and completely shocked b/c this whole book thing has really made me jump onto the social/media/whatever-you-want-to-call-it bandwagon...hoping to reach readers...so here I am!
